HELLO IT'S TUESDAY, FOLKS. I have something really important to talk about today, so please read everything super carefull!

I HAVE BEEN HAVING SUUUUUCH A BLAST RUNNING THE GAME FOR YOU GUYS, but! I have realized that I simply do not have it in me to mod the game indefinitely like I originally planned. There are a lot of reasons for this which are silly and personal, but the tl;dr is I vvvvastly overestimated the mental bandwidth I have to spare for modding. This is a HUGE fuck up on my part!! I am so deeply and horrendously sorry!! I KNOW HEARING THIS IS LIKE, A HUGE FUCKING BUMMER! Especially when I can tell that you guys are having so much fun (which makes me SO HAPPY in my heartspace weh). Words cannot express how absolutely mortified I am at myself for opening a wholeass long-term DWRP only to be like W. WHOOPS, ACTUALLY. . . . . . it's not a great look on my part and I recognize that. I'm really, REALLY sorry, folks.

With all that said, I also really don't want to just be like OKAY I'M PEACING OUT NOW BYE. I may not be able to mod indefinitely, but I can still give you about two months (MAYBE THREE BUT PREFERABLY TWO) of EXPEDITED PLOT to wrap up the game with a nice li'l bow! I do want to deliver on some of the promises I have made and give y'all the space to play out the arcs you started. And also kill some nasty ghosts!! Despite everything, I can and will be putting my all into making things SUPER FUN and SUPER ENGAGING for y'all over the next two months, too. I won't leave you hanging I promise ;w;/

Before I start retooling my plot plans though, I want to make sure that this is a decision you guys are okay with. I know that sometimes being told that a game is shifting towards an ending when it wasn't advertised as being short-term can kill people's drive, and if hearing this has killed YOURS, please tell me! I've included a poll below where you can do just that. PLEASE ANSWER HONESTLY, I promise my feelings will not be hurt either way. This is, again, a complete and utter failure on my part and not yours.

Thank you friends for giving my game a chance either way. Thank you for apping and creating such a colorful cast of characters who are fun and engaging. Thank you for participating in all of my silly ideas and threading with me as a player. I AM. . . STILL DEEPLY MORTIFIED WITH MYSELF, and I promise I don't need words of comfort or reassurance about this either, rofl. Please note that once I put this up I have to vanish into work for ten+ hours (sobs) and I will be training someone all day so my time online will be pretty sporadic.

DEPENDING ON THE RESULTS OF THE POLL NORMAL ANNOUNCEMENTS WILL FOLLOW ASAP. That is, announcements about game mechanics, specifically the consequences of dying ICly, and also drops.

Happy Monday again friends! Some very simple announcements this week:

There is a game/event going on right now! It is the school club fundraiser event! tl;dr, complete tasks, get points. Earn enough points and your club may be sponsored by the spooky ghosts! As a bit of a spoiler, in the aftermath of the minigame, I plan on implementing school clubs as a new mechanic to the game as a whole. My vision is that there will be VARIOUS SCHOOL CLUBS associated with certain tasks that characters may join, and yes, I may be using the clubs you guys come up with as a springboard for ideas. Characters may complete said tasks to earn rewards that can be cashed in for things like power regains, items from home, the offensive/defensive ofuda sometimes offered as minigame rewards, and a couple of other things. This does mean that I'll be retooling the rewards characters get for winning minigames, but that won't be implemented until the minigame after this one. I do hope this gives you guys more of an opportunity to engage with the setting beyond just the mod-sanctioned mingles I make! ;w;/

SPEAKING OF MOD-SANCTIONED MINGLES. I think I have been pretty nice with the mingle prompts thus far, but in October I'd like for things to get a little hairy and/or dangerous for the student body. The PvP trauma minigame will occur late October (dates tbd), but leading up to it I plan on making a post or two with BAD THINGS HAPPENING so you guys can have a li'l h/c for spooky season. This is basically just a warning that October will probably be a little heavier on the trauma side, so you can plan accordingly!

Though that said, from October 10 - 14 I will be on vacation. No mod things will be happening during that period!

Due to what I have planned for October, I also probably won't be doing any team explorations that month. I WILL MAKE UP FOR IT IN NOV/DEC I PROMISE!

Activity Check is due tomorrow! PLEASE TURN IN IT! If you were on hiatus for 2+ weeks you are exempt, but please still comment to your team header with a link to your hiatus comment or something along the lines of I WAS ON HIATUS. Also this has not been advertised as an official policy, but if you were accepted within the last two weeks of the month and don't yet have AC, it's okay! You are also exempt. I will add this to the AC page because. . . I forgot to have an exception like this. . . sweats.
